We are in Chicago taking over concourse C. O'Hare has no idea why there is so much giggling. But...it's maybe the greatest sound of all time.

Packing List!

COSTA RICA PACKING LIST

• CLOTHES
• Two travel outfits (shoes that are very easy to slide on/off+no metal/belts/etc.--wear one of these outfits on Sunday to the airport)
• Grubby work clothes for Five days:  at least Three pairs of pants for working (scrubs, jeans, leggings+shorts over them, loose yogas, etc.), Five t-shirts you can work in (not sleeveless), One pair of Tennis Shoes/Boots/Close-toed shoes for working, One pair of work gloves,  and any work-related Accessories (Sunglasses*, Bandana*, Hat*)
• “Chill” Clothes for the evenings (Shirts, Pants/Shorts)
• 2-3 outfits for evenings out
• 1 Rain Jacket
• 1-2 additional pairs of shoes (definitely one pair of Sandals/Chacos)
• 2-3 Bathing suits (one very modest one)
• 7 pairs of socks
• 7-10 pairs of underwear
• 1-2 warm things (long-sleeved/hoodie/fleece/etc.)
• TOILETRIES
• Shampoo/Conditioner for five days
• Toothbrush/Toothpaste
• Soap for 5 days
• Razors+Lotion+Face Wash, etc. (whatever you use)
• Feminine Products (extremely limited buying opportunities in country)
• Suntan Lotion
• Bug Spray
• Medicine (Tylenol/Advil, Immodium, Bandaids, any prescriptions you have)
• OTHER STUFF
• 2 beach towels
• Water bottle for while you work+ any protein bars or snacks you might want
• Flashlight
• Journal+Bible+Pens
• Small day pack (like a Kavu)*
• Camera if you want it*
• CARRY-ON BACKPACK
• At least one change of clothes+a Jacket
• Small toiletries (3 oz bottles that will fit into one quart sized Ziploc)
• Phone+Charger
• Wallet (with Driver’s License+Some spending $$$)
• Passport
• Book/Bible/Journal/something to do on the plane

Parent Meeting 3/9/14

We will see you all at the parent meeting on Sunday March 9,2014 at 3:00pm at the McConnells house.  We will have any forms you need as well as a notary to sign them.  We will also give you a packing list.

Please bring with you:  your insurance card (or a copy), your passport and $28 for a departure tax.
